One of my former couples, Katelyn and John, brought their sweet baby boy Jack to me for their newborn session and we had such a good time. My husband and I were so honored to capture their wedding day in Vermont last summer. I can’t believe it’s been over a year now since their beautiful day! Katelyn and John are the sweetest couple who fell in love after connecting on Facebook and now, they’re celebrating their newest family member. It became clear when we worked with them on their engagement session and wedding that photography is something close to their hearts, so it was even better that Baby Jack slept and was super cuddly during our entire newborn session so we could get lots of adorable shots for them to remember how little their son once was.
This sweet baby was actually born a little early – he just couldn’t wait to meet his parents – so we had a beautiful mid-May session! Baby Jack was only 6 pounds, which made him even cuter! Especially when his mommy and daddy held him! Nothing as sweet as seeing my former brides and grooms hold their new, tiny baby. We used some beautiful neutrals and shades of blue to complete his setups and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Katelyn and John were so much fun to watch with Baby Jack… he’s the perfect extension of their beautiful love story!
I absolutely love all of my newborns but there’s just something incredibly perfect about a baby who sleeps the entire session! It really gives us a chance to create some amazing shots for mom and dad to remember their sweet tiny baby by. I hope Katelyn and John always remember how small and sweet their little guy was through these images!
