my approach
I strive to create images that won't look outdated in just a few months so that you can look back at your images years from now and love them as much as you did the day you first saw them. My natural approach is for parents looking for classic and timeless images.
My posed sessions take place in a beautiful studio space in Point Pleasant, NJ, where you will have access to my complete set of newborn blankets and accessories. These sessions are perfect for parents who love those adorable newborn poses on blanket backdrops and in organic crates and baskets.
My lifestyle sessions take place in the comfort of your home. The session will take place in the master bedroom and/or the baby's nursery. Lifestyle sessions do not include studio-style poses. Instead, baby is held in parent's arms, or placed on bed or in crib. This session is perfect for parents who have beautiful, natural light in their home and want a more relaxed session.
Sessions takes place within the first 2-3 weeks of birth, so it is important to book your session as soon as possible. It's never too early to book in order to ensure a spot during the recommended time frame. I usually book 2-3 months in advance.

We'll start with a phone call so that I can get to know your needs and tell you about the products and services that will be perfect for you. Once I have answered your questions and you have decided that The Newborn Experience is exactly what you’re looking for, the next step is a signed agreement and Session Fee. I will create an online contract for you to review, and when you’re ready you can book your session by signing your agreement and paying your Session Fee online.

During the pre-planning stage, I'll want to get a clear vision of the artwork and heirlooms you're looking to create for your home and your family's legacy. We'll then get to work on planning your outfits and the color palette we'll be using for styling the newborn session.

My custom photography approach ensures a session that is tailored to you as well as the goals of the session. I truly believe that session planning is a collaborative process and my goal is to create an experience where you’ll be a part of the styling of your session so that your images are cohesive and fit well with the colors in your home.

Once your baby is born, I ask that you call or text me within 2-3 days so that we can set a date for the session within a few days of the baby coming home. This way I can ensure I’m able capture their sleepy and curly stage during the recommended timeframe.

Posed newborn sessions take place in my studio space in Point Pleasant, NJ, where you will have access to my complete set of newborn props and accessories. The session takes place within the first 2-3 weeks of birth.
Lifestyle newborn sessions take place in your home - in the master bedroom and/or the nursery. Please make sure your home has plenty of beautiful natural light if you book a lifestyle session.

During the session, I'm happy to include individual portraits of the baby, the baby with siblings, and/or the baby with parents.

Once your images are ready for viewing, we'll will create a pre-design of your album and mockups of your artwork based on what we've discussed during the pre-planning session. You’ll schedule a Reveal and Ordering Appointment to view the images, customize your album, and help you select your wall art. You'll also be able to place your order for birth announcements and gift prints.

This is the most fun part of the experience!
Once your artwork has arrived, we'll schedule your delivery and installation and you'll have tangible memories of this fleeting time.
DELIVERY & INSTALLATION

Newborn sessions take place within the first 2-3 weeks of birth while your baby is still in the adorable sleepy and curly stage that you see in my newborn images. For this reason, it's important to book your session 2-3 months before your due date in order to reserve a spot during the recommended timeframe. I occasionally have last-minute openings so if your baby is already here, don't be afraid to reach out to see if I can still accommodate you.
when should I book?
All collections include a Reveal & Ordering appointment so that you can see your images and help you with your album design and wall art collections, too. We specialize in creating the cherished heirlooms you will pass onto future generations some day and can't wait to create something unique for you!
How will our images be delivered?
All collections include archival files of purchased images (sized for printing 8x10 or smaller). Orders for larger prints and canvases are placed during your Reveal & Ordering appointment.
WILL WE will we be able to print OUR IMAGES on our own?
Booking a session guarantees a spot in my calendar within the first 2-3 weeks of the baby's life. Once the baby is here, I'll ask that you contact me within the first 2-3 days of the baby's birth in order to schedule your newborn session.
HOW DO I SCHEDULE IF MY BABY ISN'T HERE YET?
I will send you a newborn prep guide full of tips to ensure a successful newborn session. Additionally, I will be available to answer all your questions along the way.
WHAT CAN I DO TO PREPARE FOR THE SESSION?
Maternity sessions are best done around week 32-34 of your pregnancy after your belly has popped but before you start to get too uncomfortable. Please book once you reach 20 weeks.
